Kootenanny Music festival is set to go in it's 8th incarnation for 2010, May 21-24! With an amazing lineup of performers we'll have music through to Monday... perhaps even Tuesdayish?
Positive vibrations resound through the weekend and people will get to enjoy 2 great stages this year at an amazing new location, music and visual displays throughout the festival with a welcoming relaxed camping atmosphere.
Start Time: Friday, May 21 5pm
Saturday, May 22, headliners starting at 7pm

Inshala represents gathering community, celebrating Southern Alberta's Land, and making time for timelessness. In the past two years of Inshala, they been retreat like settings. I remember last year, some used the term of Pilgrimage.
This year, with much growth, evolution and expansion, we take it to the outdoors, within the Coulees, upon the trees and near the Old Man river that floats through. This land is in the coulees of Fort McCloud area.
Many people have come from many places for Inshala. From B.C, Alberta and some in Saskatchewan, we gathered to share, express and experience. With Inshala III, I welcome the Communities to share more of what we all are. For example, in Lethbridge, throughout the warm seasons, every Saturday
people would gather to drum and fire-spin. Sometimes there would be ten people while the next week could be 200. These gatherings became our medicine; these gatherings became our celebration.
Each community hosts their own ways to celebrate, share and integrate within life's flow. We welcome all ages as even the little ones have much to teach us. With many coming from Vancouver, Victoria, Nelson, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, High River, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatchewan and Montana, I wish to welcome those to share their gifts. This will be done through workshops, through music Sets, through setting up camps, through open mic's, through vending goods
and services. When we Gather, and we're open, we continually evolve.

WILD concert & art show
Here's the first of many HUGE announcements coming in the next while
Yours truly shall be warming up the crowd from 8-10pm for ARTspot's 2nd Anniversary Party!!
Headlining will be the one and only GIFT OF GAB from Blackalicious!!!
This afternoon and evening of music, art, performances and more will be truly amazing! We've got a 10,000 sq foot warehouse booked, and 400 ticketes available! For only $25 you get admission to this amazing party and art show, plus there will be food and drink service from 5-7pm. Its going to be MASSIVE!

Last year's Intention 2 was my first big community focussed co-creative event that I attended, and honestly, it changed my life. To be with such amazing people, creating such an amazing energy, it changed my perceptions and ideas from that point forward. I strongly recommend that you attend this event if you are looking for a deeper, more meaningful transition into the new year. Can't wait!!
